Good Molecule Favorites+Black Friday Steal!

I’ve been using Good Molecules for almost 2 years now and I figured the brand deserves its own blog post because I use at least one of their products every day. I showcase it here and there on Instagram but tbh it deserves much more love than what I post on IG. I haven’t tested every single product there is, but I’d definitely say that I’ve used most of their products before! If you’re into cruelty-free, affordable, simple, and effective formulations, please read on and I hope you give them a try! Here are some of my favorites (not all shown in the pics) Their sale starts this afternoon so jump on it!

One thing to know about Good Molecules is that they are very transparent with the ingredient list and their percentages! Any brand can slap on a fancy shmancy ingredient, only to find out that it’s in non-efficacious or negligible quantities. ——> click the image to go to the website and see for yourself!

  1. Hyaluronic acid Serum $6:

I’m on my second bottle. Hyaluronic serum is pretty much a staple in my skincare routine, and I often go through them quite fast because they’re so versatile and hydrating. It’s a must have for anyone who has dehydrated skin, and it’s even better than this has 3 molecular weights of HA acid in order to penetrate multiple layers of skin for deep hydration. You can’t go wrong with a $6 HA in this gorgeous frosted glass bottle! The dropper, btw is great quality and tbh the formulation of this is a bit better than the $8 Inkeylist one if you were jw.

  2. Caffeine Hydrogel Eye Patches $18 for 60

The best thing about these eye patches are that they’re stickin affordable! These hydrogel eye patches are so cooling and I use them literally ALL the time-when I’m doing a clay mask, when I wake up, when my eyes feel extra tired and puffy (from crying), or if I just feel like I want to be a little extra with my skincare routine. I’ve even slapped these on during my 20 commute once! The formula has licorice extract, caffeine, peptides, and aloe which waken up and hydrate the undereye area. Especially when compared to brands like patchology or even most Kbeauty brands, these eye patches are affordable and so useful for being a one-time use kind of product!

  3. Discoloration Correcting Serum $12:

Fragrance-free, pH 5.5. At least for me, I saw brightening pretty early on when using this. At first, I thought I was just seeing what I wanted to see, but with continued use+SPF, it was more noticeable. Often serums like these will be VERY acidic and perhaps also a bit sticky, but not so with this one. There’s 2% tranexamic acid (usually used for treatment of melasma) and niacinamide that does the work for you.

  4. Clarify & Cleanse Bar $8

This. Thisssss is the best for that guy in your life that uses shampoo or body wash on their face out of laziness. You try to convince them to properly wash their face, but it just aint happening. Without a word, simply swap this out for the face and body and everybody’s satisfied! It’s been forever since I’ve used bar soap, but this actually isn’t a soap even though it looks like one. Instead it’s soap-free, and is pH 5.5-6.5 which won’t irritate or dry out the skin. Not to mention it still creates a beautiful lather that feels satisfying upon application and rinse-off.

  5. Niacinimide Serum $6:

Currently I’m on my second bottle of this. It’s intensely hydrating, so much so that I use it like I would the hyaluronic acid serum day and night. It’s never sticky, and since I get clogged pores so easily (especially while wearing an N95 mask all day) this is another staple of mine.

  6. Squalane Oil $8

I have combo-oily skin and if you’re anything like me, it takes foreeeeever to finish an entire jar of expensive facial oil (normally 50mL) Usually I end up using a whole bunch of it on my body in order to use it up by the time it goes rancid. The great thing is these $8 facial oils are smaller sized and affordable at the same time, so there’s no fear that it’ll go bad by the time you’re using it. Between rosehip and squalane, squalane oil is a thinner, drier oil and more preferred for my combo-oily skin.

  7. Pineapple Exfoliating Powder $16

This is an exfoliating dry powder, utilizing chemical fruit enzyme exfoliants and customizable physical exfoliants. If you don’t want the physical exfoliating property, just add more water and the rice starch easily dissolves. This is gentle enough for everyday use, and it never irritates my eyes or creates a stinging sensation. pH 5.5 so it’s perfect in maintaining then natural acid mantle of the skin!
