Aromatica Sampler Box

Mini reviews for these Aromatica minis right here! Aromatica is a natural brand I first heard about from Peach and Lily, and is ECOCERT certified, meaning that these products are actually clean and organic, not just by name.

  1. Natural Coconut Cleansing Oil: This cleansing oil works fine, but doesn’t impress me at all. I’ve tried so many that I liked that I just didn’t reach for this one at all.

  2. Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser: This cleanser is very drying! I actually have tried this in the past through a sample and makes your skin feel very squeaky clean and stripped, so I didn’t enjoy it at all.

  3. Rose Absolute First Serum: The next couple are winners! Although I’m not a huge fan of the rose scent, it is very hydrating with the addition of niacinimide to add that extra boost of brightening effect.

  4. Aloe Vera Gel: Nothing special to me tbh. Buuut aloe is a great ingredient, especially to cool down the skin after a hot day, so it’s a good companion to take with you to the beach!

  5. Argan Intensive Hydrating Cream: I was expecting something oily, but thankfully and surprisingly the texture was quite hydrating, yet when it sinks into the skin, instead of feeling greasy, it feels nicely moisturizing. There is alcohols in here to make the texture more agreeable, but I didn’t experience any drying or stinging effect.

  6. Calendula Juicy Cream: This was actually my favorite of them all! This is a gorgeous texture, sort of like a gel-cream and is very hydrating to the skin. (see swatch above) There’s 48% calendula in here, making it a good ingredient to help calm down dry irritated skin. The full size of this product is 5.2 oz for $32, which is awesome considering moist moisturizers are only 1.7 oz!
