Performance:

----------------------Foaming Cleanser----------------------------

Love the simple to squeeze tube packaging! It's easy to use but weirdly enough, this really doesn't foam up like the name suggests that it does. I'm honestly OK with no foam, but since the description is a "foaming cleanser", customers looking into it are really expecting that. It does create a little bit of a lather with my FOREO, but honestly it still doesn't foam up that much.

I have no idea what the claim means to "maintain skin's natural balance". It seems vague, and one thing I know: it doesn't keep the pH balance! This product doesn't feel stripping at all to my skin, but since the pH is a neutral 7, that's already a couple points off in my book no matter if it feels stripping or not. It's a fine cleanser, but it's definitely not something I'd really reach for for cleansing nor taking off makeup (everyone, just use a cleansing oil/balm! It's more effective that way.). For both cleansers, I'm not a fan that there's fragrance (esp not one that I'm a fan of) in here.

------------------------Cleansing Mousse----------------------------

This packaging is well designed and definitely gives you the right amount of product with each pump. Other than the pH and scent (which is the same as the foaming cleanser) that I'm not a fan of, most importantly I didn't feel like this cleansed my face as well. My face felt cleaner with a FOREO device after an oil cleanse, but if I were to use this product alone as a second step cleanser, I'd be tempted to go in one more time or use my beloved Cosrx Low pH Cleanser. I take cleansing seriously! You better have a clean canvas for the rest of your skincare to layer on top.

Verdict:

Even though the foaming cleanser does a better job, at the end of the day, these just aren't worth the price in my opinon. The fact it has fragrance in it is a huge turnoff, and even though pH7 is neutral, I prefer low pH cleansers much more. I really think there are too many cleansers out there would do a better job for a cheaper price point.

You already know it! My ultimate favorite 2nd step cleanser is the Cosrx Low pH Cleanser. Only ~$10, a gentle formula, on Amazon Prime, and does the job well without stripping your skin.
