Performance:

First off the bat this is a very generously-sized product. Most masks or moisturizers will give you 1.7, maybe 2 oz, but this one is a 3.04 tub! I don’t think this product has any mask-like properties (no washing off, no sheet-mask like moisture) so I just think of it like a moisturizer. The texture is a fun, pudding-like texture that is easily spreadable. When you hear vitamin E, you might think of Vitamin E oil and assume this to be an oily product, but it’s not. It’s definitely a nice balance between being hydrating and moisturizing, and a big plus is that it sinks into the skin fast (like within 30 sec). I use a thin layer of this over serum/essence step and under my vitamin C serum and usual moisturizer at night. This is a product that could be used in a variety of ways: mixed with skincare steps, as moisturizer, used as a moisturizer under moisturizer…I mean you have a lot of creativity in the way you use this. There isn’t really a solid rule even though on the packaging it suggests using it like a moisturizer. While it is fun to use, I don’t think this product is a must-have at all. I didn’t notice any major differences from using/not using this either, but I just love knowing it’s enhancing the quite pricey Vitamin C serum that I’m using right now. Vitamin C & E are both antioxidants, and they’re better together to make collagen and to product your skin from sun damage. So if you’re using a Vitamin C serum at the moment, consider pairing it with its partner vitamin E!

Verdict:

Worth it, but it’s not a skincare game changer. I like that this is friendly for sensitive skin types and can do a variety of things for your skin, like brightening and moisturizing. But again, not a must have.
