Being a K-Beauty fan, I know there are tons and tooonnns of sheet masks out there- and very good inexpensive ones. In Korea, many women to sheet masks every. single. day. I know right?That's 1. Intense hydration 2. Intense amount of money spent on sheet masks per year! But, this also means that after the sheet mask step all you do is pat in the product and go to sleep. So typically before using a sheet mask, you'll cleanse and tone and let the mask to the rest. These gold sheet masks are $65 for two, so it better work wonders. I'm not sure that anyone would ever purchase this product regularly...

Performance:
Opening the mask and applying it was difficult. The gold mask is folded into a plastic piece, which was difficult to remove. Since this mask felt very slippery and gel-like, a lot of serum was dripping out when I tried to open it up. I had to hurry up and put it on my face to not waste product! When applied, I immediately had to lay down because the mask was slipping all over my face. One note to keep in mind is that during the entire 20 minutes, you won't be able to walk around while you're waiting. Also, when applying, I realized that the mask's mouth opening was way too small, so part of the mask was on my lip the entire time no matter how much I tried to adjust it.
After 20 minutes was up, I patted in the product and let it sit for another 15 minutes. By that time, I couldn't handle the stickiness anymore and decided to wash it off my face. I noticed that my skin did feel more bouncy and hydrated, but nothing out of the ordinary for a sheet mask. Despite the claims I did not see a brightening effect as I expected. I then continued with the rest of my typical skincare routine before bed.
Verdict:
No, no, and no. This is definitely not worth the HIGH price tag! There are too many sheet masks out there that are even better quality and more comfortable to use than these. The results didn't wow me and the application process was quite messy and annoying.
Save Some $:
Look into Leaders sheet masks (~$5)! They're my favorite because not only are they effective at hydration and brightening, it adheres to your face quite well so you can walk around the house while you wait. These sheet masks don't rip easily and also hold an incredible amount of serum in it, even though there's always extra at the end! I believe these are sold at Ulta, Amazon, and even Anthropologie! Right now they're having a 40% off sale, so look into that deal!
If you are a FFF member and see this as an add on, skip it. And if this product is in a bundle, only get it if you really love the other products in the bundle. To me though, this addition doesn't add much value since I love other cheaper sheet masks.
