Kopari Coconut Cleansing Oil-Retail $32

Kopari products have been on my radar to try for some time, but could never get myself to purchase them because of the price. There are so many cleansing oils out there, that I just felt like this one could be skipped. Until obviously I got this at a major deal, and have been testing this out ever since. Worth $32?

Performance

I double cleanse everyday, and before this product, I was mainly using the Heimish All Clean Balm (~$15) as a first step in my skincare routine. This one somehow had to really wow me for me to tell you guys this was worth $32.

First of all, I will say that because this Kopari cleansing oil comes in a pump, it's just a lot easier to use. No need to open a jar and scoop it out; just pump 3 times and that's all you'll need for your face and neck. It's spreads easily all over the face and while you're working it in to break up sunscreen/makeup/grime, you'll need to make sure it's on completely dry skin. Even with a little bit of water, the thin consistency will immediately emulsify and get in the way of it doing its job. This oil cleanser is enjoyable to use, and I'd say that the biggest thing about that makes this stand out is that it rinses completely clean, even for waterproof makeup. There's no grime leftover, and Kopari's claim on not needing a second cleanser to follow up is definitely trustworthy and true. My face felt clean after just this step, but because of paranoia, I still used a second step cleanser with my Foreo device just in case.

Verdict

You know, I really have nothing negative to say about this except for the steep price for an oil cleanser. However, I will point out that you should take into consideration that the price of oil cleansers and second cleansers together would be around $32 anyway, if not more expensive. Ex. Heimish All Clean Balm (~$18)+Cosrx Low pH Cleanser (~$10). So

If you already have a second step cleanser, this product isn't worth it for you.

If you need/want a product that replaces a second step cleanser, this is worth it!
